The blues

February 9, 2011

This year, I'm considering cheating on yellow with blue. I do love yellow, it's been wonderful over the years and has never failed to "sunny-up" my home (and wardrobe), but blue just keeps reeling me in with its myriad of calming hues and never-failing marriage with chocolate brown. It surely doesn't help that I've been seeing some cracking examples of its greatness lately. Sorry yellow, it's not you, it's me.

I agree, you can't go wrong with blue! It's nice to mix it up every now and then xx

Blue definitely looks fresh and crisp. In theory I like warm leafy greens and rich yellows, but in practice I tend to gravitate toward cooler colours. Turquoise is my all time favorite colour, so getting on board with blue isn't too much of a stretch for me!
