Le Pharmacie

July 13, 2011

Whenever I'm in Paris, I find myself drawn to pharmacies like a moth to a flame. All those perfectly stacked shelves filled with lotions and potions that sound so effective and life-changing when pronounced in a French accent. I've also found some of the my absolute best, inexpensive, can't-live-without beauty products here. Don't live in France? Get yours here.

Biafine Everyone should have this in their drawer! A life-saver for sunburn, dry skin, burns, bumps and scratches (as you can see, I've used mine alot).

Klorane Dry Shampoo Fabulous for in-between washes or if you want to maintain a blowdry (PS. I spotted this one at Priceline last week. Get in!).

Dexeryl Amazingly effective on dry, winter-ravaged skin.

Avibon Packed with Vitamin A, this wonder cream is recommended to aid scarring, but I find it to be a cracking night time eye cream or a fabulous skin-reviving face mask. (You will struggle to find this one online sadly, so put it on your list for future trips or have a Euro-based friend pick it up for you.)

Avène Cold Cream Lip Balm I was an avid paw paw ointment user until I picked up this one on a whim at the Pharmacie counter. Amaze.

Thanks for tips and the heads up on the Avene Lip Balm. I think you might be able to get some at Priceline also cos they stock the Avene range there. Love it!

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this subject. If feasible, as you gain experience, would you thoughts updating your blog website with much more info? It's very helpful for me.
